Over a decade ago, Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro announced his intentions to adapt H.P. Lovecraft’s horror novella At the Mountains of Madness for Universal Pictures with James Cameron producing. This was on July 28, 2010, with many hoping that the project would come to fruition.
