Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh congratulated students who won prizes in various competitions held on the theme Super GST – Super Savings across Kurnool district. The events included drawing, essay writing, and elocution competitions on GST awareness, organized in several schools.
At the camp near the public meeting venue at Nannuru check-post in Orvakal mandal, the winning students and teachers met Governor Abdul Nazeer and Minister Lokesh. Interacting with them, Lokesh praised the students and teachers for their creativity and awareness efforts.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, GST reforms have brought direct benefits to every family in the state — with an estimated annual savings of ₹15,000 per household. Lokesh called on students and teachers to spread awareness about the advantages of GST savings among the public.
