The episode began on a lighter note as Madhuri was caught sleeping during the day. Captain Emmanuel humorously punished her with 20 squats. Though she completed the task, she went right back to sleep, leaving housemates amused. She got another punishment
Bharani Stays, Srija Exits — Audience Delivers Final Verdict
After several rounds of tasks to decide between Bharani and Srija, Bigg Boss finally handed the decision to the audience.
Nikhil and Gaurav broke the boxes to reveal the result – ie Bharani stays as a permanent housemate and Srija gets evicted
Though visibly disappointed, Srija handled the verdict with grace, thanked the housemates, and bid an emotional goodbye.
Bharani Gets Special Power
As a returning permanent housemate, Bharani was awarded a special privilege — to select five captaincy contenders.
His picks: Divya, Tanuja, Sai, Nikhil, and himself. His reason was fair — he wanted to give the chance only to those who had not been captains yet. He also acknowledged Ramu and Emmanuel’s support but didn’t pick them for this reason.
DJ Captaincy Task Brings Out True Colours
The captaincy task, “DJ Captain”, tested popularity and alliances:
How it worked:
• Captaincy contenders danced on one ramp.
• Supporters danced on another.
• Opponents could pull supporters off the ramp.
• At the buzzer, highest supporters will be the winner.
In the first round Sai got support only from Sanjana. Divya got 5 supporters . Gaurav acted neutral but secretly supported Divya. Bharani got 4, Nikhil 3 and Tanuja 8
Round was held Divya vs Tanuja. Before the final round, both lobbied heavily across the house. Bharani stayed neutral as both were close to him. The second round exposed house divisions clearly. After a confusing count, Ramu announced Divya as the new captain.
Kitchen Fights Return (As Always!)
As expected, the kitchen witnessed the daily dose of arguments:
• Kalyan vs Tanuja: Kalyan objected to okra curry again. As ration manager, Tanuja insisted it must be cooked before it spoils. Voices escalated and it snowballed into a heated ego clash.
• Ritu vs Divya: Ritu tried taking extra tea, which led to another argument when Divya intervened to maintain ration discipline.
