Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-awaited rural action drama Peddi is making waves as the shoot moves ahead at a brisk pace. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, the film promises to be a grand visual spectacle filled with intense emotions, powerful characters, and rustic mass appeal.
Adding to the excitement, the makers have unveiled the stunning first look of Janhvi Kapoor as Achiyyamma. In this new avatar, Janhvi looks bold, fiery, and full of attitude, perfectly matching the film’s raw rural backdrop. The posters present her in two striking styles — in one, she appears in a printed saree with sunglasses, traditional ornaments, and a fearless smile while speaking into a mic, radiating confidence and local charisma. In the other, she stands atop a jeep wearing a vibrant blue saree, greeting a huge crowd with power and poise. The look defines her as the “fierce and fearless” Achiyyamma, a character with both elegance and strength.
Peddi features a stellar lineup with Ram Charan leading the charge, alongside noted stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, and prestigiously presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
The film boasts an elite technical crew — music by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, and editing by National Award-winner Navin Nooli. Production design is handled by Avinash Kolla, while marketing is managed by First Show and PROs Vamsi-Shekar.
