Amaravati, November 25 — Andhra Pradesh IT, Electronics and Education Minister Nara Lokesh has appealed to his party cadre and social media users to uphold dignity in political discussions after an AI-generated post containing derogatory remarks about Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy went viral online.
Lokesh said political differences are natural in a democratic system, but personal attacks should never be encouraged. He noted that healthy debate must stay focused on issues, governance and public welfare, not on individuals. Sharing his message from X, he reminded supporters that responsible expression strengthens democratic values.
Addressing TDP workers and the wider public, Lokesh stated that emotions in politics are understandable, yet civility must always be maintained. He urged everyone to avoid amplifying abusive or disrespectful content, especially when it targets political rivals. He stressed that Andhra Pradesh deserves a political atmosphere built on respect, constructive ideas and development-focused dialogue.
He further said the State can progress only when political engagement remains positive, solution-oriented and reflective of the people’s aspirations. Lokesh called upon all parties, followers and social media users to promote a healthier, forward-looking public discourse that benefits society as a whole.
