There are no new Telugu films that released during the Republic Day weekend in Telugu cinema. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu continued to dominate the show over the Republic Day weekend in the Telugu states. Among the other Sankranthi releases, Nari Nari Naduma Murari and Anaganaga Oka Raju have been decent across the multiplexes over the weekend. All the other films failed to stand decent during the long weekend.
In the USA, the snow storm has taken a toll and it impacted the weekend collections of all the films. Hindi film Border 2 has performed well in the cities of the Telugu states. The film had a strong hold over North India and it opened on a super strong note and is better than several biggies. The film continued to gain strength every single day because of the positive word of mouth. In Telugu states, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu continued the show over the weekend.
