Arijit Singh happens to be one of the top singers of Indian cinema and he has hundreds of chartbuster songs to his name. The top singer is one of the highest paid singers and is in top form. He suddenly left everyone in shock after he announced that he will not take any new assignments as playback singer. Arijit Singh did not disclose the reason for his sudden exit. “Hello, Happy new year to all. I want to thank you all for giving me so much of love all these years as listeners. I am happy to announce that I am not gonna be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on. I am calling it off. It was a wonderful journey” told the official statement of Arijit Singh.
Bollywood media speculates that Arijit Singh will soon turn producer and will be active in filmmaking. Arijit Singh will co-produce a Hindi film which marks the debut of his son in the lead role. Siddiqui’s daughter will be the lead actress in the film. Arijit’s wife, Koel Singh has co-written the script with him and they are the producers. Arijit Singh earlier directed a Bengali musical film titled Sa in 2018. Arijit Singh has now retired as a singer but he will continue his journey in cinema in other crafts.
