One of India’s leading production banners, Mythri Movie Makers, continues to expand its presence in film distribution by bringing interesting films from different industries to Telugu audiences. The company’s distribution wing, Mythri Movie Distributors LLP, has now officially announced the release of the upcoming film Happy Raj in the Telugu states.
The film features composer-turned-actor G. V. Prakash Kumar in the lead role. It is directed by Maria Raja Elanchezian and produced by Jaivarda under the banner Beyond Pictures. With Mythri Movie Distributors backing the Telugu release, the film is expected to reach a wider audience across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The female lead in the film is Sri Gouri Priya, who gained recognition through the popular MAD film series and has been part of several promising projects in both Telugu and Tamil cinema. The film has already generated positive buzz in Tamil cinema circles, largely due to the strong response received by its promotional material.
Promotions for the Telugu version have begun with the release of an eye-catching first-look poster. The poster stands out with its vibrant colours, bold design, and quirky mass appeal. Set against a neon-lit street background filled with bright pink and purple hues, the visual creates a striking and energetic atmosphere that immediately grabs attention.
In the poster, GV Prakash Kumar is seen stepping out of a brightly lit auto-rickshaw with a confident attitude. Dressed in a stylish black suit paired with an open-collar shirt and sunglasses, the actor presents a blend of classy elegance and street-smart charisma. The visual style reflects the film’s lively tone and hints at a fun-filled entertainer.
Apart from the lead pair, the film features a notable supporting cast including Abbas, George Maryan, Geetha Kailasam, and Prathana Nathan in important roles. Other actors appearing in the film include Adhurchi Arun, Madurai Muthu, Devi Mahesh, and Sofaboy Rasul.
Happy Raj is described as a love-and-family entertainer set in a refreshing backdrop, combining humour, emotions, and vibrant storytelling elements. The makers are confident that the film will appeal to audiences looking for an entertaining and colourful cinematic experience.
The film’s technical crew includes cinematography by Madhan Christopher, music composed by Justin Prabhakaran, editing by R. K. Selva, and production design by Kumar Gangappan.
Happy Raj will release simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on March 27. With the strong distribution support of Mythri Movie Distributors LLP, the film is expected to create solid momentum among Telugu audiences when it arrives in theatres later this month.
