Amaravati: The education sector in Andhra Pradesh is witnessing significant transformation, with reforms introduced by the coalition government receiving strong appreciation from the Central team. The National Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) team has praised the initiatives taken under the leadership of Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, stating that the state is emerging as a model for others in improving education standards.
According to the SSA team, Andhra Pradesh has made notable progress not only in strengthening academic quality but also in enhancing school infrastructure and integrating technology into classrooms. The use of modern teaching methods supported by digital tools has been highlighted as one of the key strengths of the state’s education reforms.
Since assuming office, Nara Lokesh has focused on promoting digital learning across government schools. The reforms go beyond infrastructure development, with major changes introduced in the curriculum to improve skill development among students. The increased use of IT in classrooms and collaborations with global companies like Google to introduce AI-based learning have played a crucial role in reshaping the education system, the Central team observed.

Special emphasis on training teachers in modern teaching techniques has further strengthened the system, they noted. Introducing technology-driven education at the school level was described as a forward-looking and transformative step.
The Central team further stated that Andhra Pradesh has set a strong example in the effective utilization of funds, transparency, and implementation of education schemes. Experts believe that these reforms, focused on long-term student development, will help create a skilled and capable workforce for the future.
