The much-anticipated film Peddi, starring Ram Charan, has officially completed its entire shooting schedule. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the rural action drama is backed by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. The makers have now confirmed that the film will hit theatres worldwide on June 4.
The release timing is being seen as a strategic move, arriving towards the end of the summer holiday season, which could help the film attract strong footfall before schools reopen. With growing buzz around the project, trade analysts expect Peddi to benefit from a wide pan-India release.
The final schedule included filming a grand special song composed by A. R. Rahman on an elaborate set in Hyderabad, marking the completion of production. The song is expected to be a major highlight. Meanwhile, post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace.
The film features an impressive ensemble cast with Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in key roles. On the technical front, cinematography is handled by R. Rathnavelu, editing by Navin Nooli, and production design by Avinash Kolla.
Blending rural sports elements with intense action and emotional depth, Peddi is gearing up for a grand release across multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
