Waitress the Musical is opening up once more! The hit musical is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a new UK tour which kicks off in Wimbledon in March 2026.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, it has been announced that theatre royalty Carrie Hope Fletcher will be playing the role of Jenna at select venues. Carrie will be performing at Wimbledon, Brighton, Bradford, Woking, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Dublin, Manchester, and Cardiff. Casting for additional venues is to be announced.
The multi-talented actress, who was recently cast in Elf the Musical alongside husband Joel Montague, will be following in the footsteps of Lucie Jones, Chelsea Halfpenny and Sara Bareilles who have previously played the role in the UK.
The new tour will begin in Wimbledon on March 28 with further stops including Brighton, Bradford, Woking, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Eastbourne, Glasgow and Salford. Click here for more ticket information.

Featuring hit songs including ‘She Used to Be Mine’ and ‘It Only Takes a Taste’, Waitress the Musical tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker with dreams of some happiness in her life. When a dashing new doctor arrives in town, things get more than a little complicated! However, with the support of her workmates Becky and Dawn, Jenna overcomes the challenges and finds that laughter, love and friendship can provide the perfect recipe for happiness.
The musical was created by a female-led creative team including a score by the Grammy award-winning Sara Bareilles, a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson and direction by Tony® Award-winner Diane Paulus.
