The Government of Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for a massive investment push, announcing that 410 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹9.8 lakh crore will be signed at the upcoming CII Partnership Summit to be held on November 14 and 15, 2025, in Visakhapatnam. The deals are expected to create over 7.5 lakh jobs across the state, marking one of India’s largest investment events of the year.
Describing the Summit as a three-way partnership between people, government, and industry, IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that Andhra Pradesh is becoming the country’s new investment hotspot. He unveiled the tagline “Companies that choose speed, choose Andhra Pradesh,” highlighting the state’s commitment to fast-track growth, technology, and employment.
“This Summit is a partnership among our people, our government, and forward-looking corporates. Every MoU is a commitment to the dreams of our youth. Choose AP means choosing speed, trust, and opportunity grounded in Telugu pride and built for global leadership,” said Lokesh.
Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Annapurna Devi, Dr. Jitendra Singh, and Ram Naidu will be among the key dignitaries attending the Summit. The event will host 300 international delegates from 45 countries, including G20 members, and 72 global speakers.
The Summit will include 48 sessions featuring business leaders, policymakers, and investors across diverse sectors. Foundation stones will also be laid for projects worth ₹2.7 lakh crore, expected to generate 2.5 lakh new jobs.
Nara Lokesh also highlighted the investment momentum achieved over the past 16 months, citing landmark deals such as ArcelorMittal’s ₹1.5 lakh crore steel plant, Google’s AI and data hub in Visakhapatnam worth ₹15 billion, BPCL’s ₹1 lakh crore refinery, and NTPC’s ₹1.65 lakh crore green hydrogen project. Five of India’s top ten solar manufacturers have also chosen Andhra Pradesh as their destination for expansion.
He attributed the investor confidence to Andhra Pradesh’s speed of execution, strong governance under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, alignment with the Central Government, and a young, skilled workforce. With world-class infrastructure, reliable power, and scenic landscapes, Andhra Pradesh is also boosting its tourism sector, aiming for 50,000 hotel rooms by 2029.
The government is focused on building leadership in renewable energy, semiconductors, steel, ports, AI, drones, and quantum technologies. Its decentralised development model ensures that every district shares in the benefits of industrial growth and job creation.
The CII Partnership Summit is expected to cement Andhra Pradesh’s position as one of India’s fastest-growing and most business-friendly states — where investments meet opportunity and development meets speed.
