Telugu entertainer Bad Girlz is all set to hit cinemas on December 25, aiming to add fun and energy to the festive holiday season. Directed by Phani Pradeep Dhulipudi, who earlier tasted success with 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela, the film is being positioned as a youthful, high-spirited entertainer with a fresh narrative approach.
Produced jointly by Prashvitha Entertai9ment, Neeli Neeli Aakasam Creations and NVL Creations, Bad Girlz features Anchal Gowda, Payal Chengappa, Roshini, Yashna, Rohan Surya and Moin in key roles. The film’s tagline, “Kani Chala Manchodlu,” interestingly contrasts with the title, hinting at humor-driven storytelling and layered characterisation.
Director Phani Pradeep Dhulipudi has described Bad Girlz as a complete entertainer that explores how a comedy in the space of Jathi Ratnalu or MAD would look if it were driven primarily by female characters. He expressed confidence in the final output, stating that the film has shaped up well and is designed to appeal to all sections of the audience with its fun-filled narrative.
Music is composed by Anup Rubens, while Oscar-winning lyricist Chandra Bose has penned all the songs. The soundtrack has already begun creating buzz, with the romantic track “Ila Chusukuntane” crossing 6 million views, and the recently released Bad Girlz Anthem receiving strong engagement on social media platforms. The makers have confirmed that more songs will be released ahead of the theatrical launch.
