Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s upcoming pan-India period action film “David Reddy” has announced international actress Maria Riaboshapka as the female lead. The makers revealed the update officially, creating fresh buzz around the ambitious project.
The film is being produced by Nallagangula Venkat Reddy and Bharat Motukuri under the banners of Velvet Soul Motion Pictures and True Radix. It is directed by Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti. Set in the British colonial era, “David Reddy” is being made as a large-scale period action drama and will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, aiming for a wide pan-India reach.
According to the film team, Maria Riaboshapka will play a crucial role opposite Manchu Manoj. The makers say the on-screen chemistry between Manoj and Maria will be one of the highlights of the movie and is expected to attract audiences across languages.
“David Reddy” revolves around the story of a fearless warrior who rises in rebellion against the British Empire. Manchu Manoj will appear in a completely new and powerful avatar for the film. The glimpses and first-look posters released earlier have already generated strong interest among fans and film lovers.
