The deal is being seen as the biggest-ever acquisition in the AP–TG market for a film that is not of Telugu origin, reflecting the extraordinary confidence the trade has in the film’s box office potential and wide audience appeal.
The landmark agreement was sealed between the film’s producers KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations and Sri Venkateswara Creations after strong competition from multiple leading distributors. Trade sources say the AP–TG rights witnessed intense bidding, with several major players showing interest before SVC emerged successful. The deal has further strengthened the buzz around Toxic, positioning it as one of the most anticipated pan-Indian releases in recent times.
Yash’s growing popularity across India, especially in the Telugu states after the massive success of KGF Chapter 2, has played a major role in driving early confidence around the film. The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages, highlighting its strong pan-Indian and global ambitions. The film features high production values and a strong technical team, including cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design by TP Abid.
