A large Mega Job Fair aimed at providing employment opportunities to youth from the Hindupur constituency was successfully conducted on March 15, 2026. The initiative was organized under the guidance of Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna and with his financial support, in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from unemployed youth across the region who attended in large numbers hoping to secure job opportunities.
According to the organizers, a total of 110 companies from across the country participated in the Mega Job Fair and conducted on-the-spot interviews for job seekers. Several well-known companies, including multinational firms such as TCS, Bluespring, CEIL, THSC, and Hexaware, took part in the recruitment drive, making it one of the largest job fairs organized in the region in recent times.
The job fair attracted 5,323 unemployed youth who registered and attended the interviews to showcase their skills and qualifications. After the completion of the recruitment process and interviews conducted by the participating companies, 1,903 candidates were immediately selected for various job positions across different sectors.
In addition to the candidates who secured jobs on the spot, another 868 applicants were shortlisted by companies for further rounds of interviews. Organizers stated that these candidates will undergo second and third stage interviews in the coming days, and the number of final selections is likely to increase once the process is completed.
The Mega Job Fair is being seen as an important step toward creating employment opportunities for youth in the Hindupur constituency. Local youth who attended the event expressed hope that such initiatives would continue in the future and help bridge the gap between job seekers and employers.
Political observers say that efforts like these are expected to encourage skill development and employment among young people in the region.
