In the Matrusri Colony of Manikonda Municipality, a local builder installed an illegal speed breaker on the cement road for his personal benefit. This speed breaker, which had no public use, became a major problem for the residents. Vehicles slipped, people fell, and several accidents were reported. Small children riding bicycles were injured after hitting the speed breaker, and a few even suffered fractures.
When the colony residents asked the builder to remove it, he reportedly behaved rudely. With no other option, the locals approached Manikonda Municipal Manager Sreedhar and explained the issue.
Manager Sreedhar responded immediately, identified it as an illegal speed breaker, and ensured its removal within a few hours of the complaint. His quick action brought huge relief to the Matrusri Colony residents.
Locals said that officers who act so promptly are rare and expressed their gratitude to Manager Sreedhar for resolving the problem quickly.
