Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh is set to travel on a five-day tour across the United States and Canada from December 6 to 10, aiming to attract major investments to the state. Lokesh will begin his trip in Dallas on December 6, where he will take part in a special interaction with the Telugu diaspora.
On December 8 and 9, he will be in San Francisco to meet representatives of leading global companies and explore new opportunities in technology, electronics, and innovation. On December 10, he will continue his outreach efforts in Toronto, Canada.
This is Lokesh’s second visit to the US since the coalition government came to power. Over the past 18 months, he has travelled to countries including the US, Davos (Switzerland), Singapore, and Australia to promote Andhra Pradesh as a prime investment destination.
Lokesh has been highlighting Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s strong governance brand and the state’s favourable industrial ecosystem, which has already resulted in a surge of investment commitments at the recent Partnership Summit held in Visakhapatnam.
His latest tour is expected to further strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s global connections and bring in fresh investments that can accelerate the state’s growth story.
