He highlighted the state’s beautiful natural destinations like Papikondalu and Vizag Beach, suggesting collaboration in heritage tourism promotion, eco-certification, and tourism marketing.
Emphasizing Andhra Pradesh’s 1,053 km long coastline, Lokesh proposed joint research and development projects on coastal resilience using advanced environmental technologies similar to Victoria’s Port Phillip Bay initiatives. He also invited Victoria’s participation in waste management and carbon-neutral tourism projects that align with Andhra Pradesh’s sustainability goals.
Lokesh suggested organizing large-scale global events in Andhra Pradesh on the lines of the Melbourne Grand Prix and sought Victoria’s assistance in training event management professionals. He also proposed joint cricket and hockey training camps and friendly matches between both regions, along with student exchange programs in sports science.
