“Mithra Mandali Will Make Everyone Laugh”: Priyadarshi

Mithra Mandali is all set for a grand release on October 16. The film is presented by Bunny Vas under BV Works and produced by Kalyan Manthena, Bhanu Pratap, and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under Saptaswa Media Works. Directed by Vijender, the movie stars Priyadarshi and Niharika NM in lead roles, along with Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Satya, Vishnu Oi, Ragh Mayur, Prasad Behra, and VTV Ganesh in key roles.
Ahead of the release, hero Priyadarshi spoke to the media about the film.
Priyadarshi said he loved the story the moment he heard it from director Vijender. “When I listened to the Mithra Mandali script, I completely enjoyed it. What I imagined while hearing it is exactly what I saw on screen. Our film will entertain everyone,” he shared.
Talking about the writing, he said, “Vijender, Anudeep, Aditya Hasan, and Kalyan Shankar were roommates, and their humor styles are quite similar. Mithra Mandali has the same fun vibe but with Vijender’s unique touch.”
On comparisons with Jathi Ratnalu, Priyadarshi clarified, “This is a different story. After Jathi Ratnalu, I did 35 – Chinna Katha Kadu and Court. I don’t like repeating genres. Mithra Mandali is special in its own way.”
When asked about negative comments online, he said, “Trying to make people laugh isn’t wrong, but mocking others for it is cringe. Some people post hate just to get attention. We can’t take that seriously.”
Priyadarshi also spoke about his bold statement, “If you don’t like Mithra Mandali, don’t watch my next films.” He said, “It came from confidence and love for this project, not arrogance.”
He praised his co-star Niharika NM, saying, “She’s Telugu, very talented, and fit in perfectly with our team.”
About the film’s overseas buzz, he said, “There’s great excitement abroad. Telugu audiences overseas will definitely enjoy it.”
Sharing his thoughts on the film’s theme, Priyadarshi said, “It’s not aimed at any group or community. It’s a fictional satire that makes you laugh without offending anyone.”
Mithra Mandali will have paid premieres before the official release. “We have faith that audiences will love it. The final verdict is always theirs,” he said, ending with, “Thank you all, and Happy Diwali!”
