A grand foundation stone ceremony was held for the reconstruction of the historic Sri Kashi Vishweshwara Swamy Temple at Kunchanapalli in Tadepalli Mandal, Mangalagiri constituency. Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
The minister received a warm welcome with fireworks and cheers from villagers and members of the Temple Reconstruction and Development Committee upon his arrival. Amid the chanting of Vedic hymns, temple committee members performed the rituals and began the reconstruction process of the temple dedicated to Sri Kashi Vishweshwara Swamy, along with Goddess Ganga and Goddess Annapurna Devi.
Nara Lokesh offered special prayers at the Dhanyadivasam mandapam and later unveiled a commemorative plaque, marking the occasion. He also interacted with devotees and committee members, posing for group photographs and extending his best wishes for the successful completion of the project.
Prominent dignitaries present included Padmasali Welfare and Development Corporation Chairman Nandam Abbadayya, APMSIDC Chairman Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao, TTD Board Member Tammishetti Janaki Devi, and Guntur Parliament TDP General Secretary Pothineni Srinivasa Rao. The event saw enthusiastic participation from alliance leaders, party workers, and hundreds of villagers, creating a vibrant and devotional atmosphere.
