Patna (Bihar): Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh called on the youth of Bihar to ensure the victory of the NDA alliance for the state’s all-round progress. Speaking at a press conference in Patna, Lokesh said Bihar has played a crucial role in achieving the vision of “Viksit Bharat,” and its continued development depends on stable, visionary leadership.
“I am here not as a minister from Andhra Pradesh but as a responsible Indian. The upcoming Bihar elections are vital for the nation’s political future. The youth of Bihar must support the NDA again for three strong reasons,” Lokesh said.
He pointed out that Andhra Pradesh suffered heavily after giving “one chance” to the YSRCP government in 2019. “Law and order collapsed, industries shifted to neighboring states, and the state lost valuable opportunities. Bihar should not repeat that mistake,” he warned.
Explaining why NDA deserves another term, Lokesh listed three major reasons: leadership with a proven track record, the advantages of a double-engine government, and the importance of political continuity. He praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, calling their governance corruption-free and development-driven. “Modi ji and Nitish ji (Nani) have transformed Bihar’s image. Modi ji’s vision is to make Bihar’s economy a trillion-dollar one,” he said.
Highlighting the benefits of double-engine governments, Lokesh said states like Andhra Pradesh and Bihar have received significant central funds under the NDA rule, boosting infrastructure, education, and industries. “With NDA governments both at the Centre and in the states, decisions are faster, and development happens smoothly,” he added.
He emphasized that the continuation of good governance is vital for sustained growth, citing examples of Gujarat and Odisha. “After Nitish Kumar replaced the Jungle Raj, peace and security improved, and Patna developed rapidly,” he said, quoting Bihar Industry Association leaders. Lokesh also mentioned Andhra Pradesh’s “One Entrepreneur per Home” initiative launched by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to encourage MSMEs.
Criticizing opposition promises, Lokesh said, “Some parties are making impossible promises like offering one job per home. The youth of Bihar should not fall for such fake assurances.”
He concluded by saying that a strong Bihar strengthens India. “Under Modi ji’s leadership and with the NDA’s double-engine government, both Bihar and Andhra Pradesh are witnessing massive growth,” Lokesh stated.
The press meet was attended by Bihar State Media Head and MLC Sanjay Mayukh, MPs Sana Satish and Ganti Harish, and former MP GVL Narasimha Rao.
