The coming-of-age romantic comedy Premante, starring Priyadarshi and Anandhi, has generated interest with its engaging promotional material. The recently released first single received an excellent response, and today, the makers unveiled the film’s teaser.
The teaser highlights the contrast between the rosy dreams people have about marriage and the real-life challenges that come with living together. It follows a newly married couple who begin their journey full of hope but soon find themselves arguing over small things once the honeymoon phase fades. The teaser gets even funnier when Suma Kanakala makes her entry as a police constable.
Priyadarshi and Anandhi appear natural as an everyday couple. They are optimistic and naïve at first, then increasingly at odds over minor disagreements. Suma Kanakala seems to play a crucial role, while Vennela Kishore is seen in a humorous avatar.
Director Navaneeth Sriram presents this story in an entertaining way, filled with relatable situations. The visuals by Vishwanath Reddy are bright, while Leon James’ music enhances the film’s fun quotient.
