We are thrilled to announce that the one and only Shah Rukh Khan will be hosting the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism, co-powered by Sweety by MR Group and in association with Gopal Namkeen, Amul and Supersox. The King of Bollywood will be returning to the Filmfare stage, bringing with him his trademark wit and charm.
For generations, the iconic Black Lady has stood as a symbol of excellence and prestige in Indian cinema, and SRK’s association with Filmfare is nothing short of legendary.
From winning his very first Best Debut Filmfare Award for Deewana in 1993, to collecting multiple Best Actor trophies for films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil Se, Devdas, and My Name Is Khan, SRK’s journey has been intrinsically tied to Filmfare. But besides winning the trophy, SRK has also given us iconic moments as the host of the award ceremony.
As we celebrate the 70th year of Filmfare, having Shah Rukh Khan back on stage feels symbolic. He will be accompanied by Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul on stage as his co-hosts.
Meanwhile, the nominations for this year were announced recently. Stree 2, Kill, Laapataa Ladies, I Want to Talk, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are some of the top contenders.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Shri Prabhav Joshi, Commissioner & Managing Director, TCGL, and Mr Rohit Gopakumar, Director of Worldwide Media and CEO of ZENL, BCCL TV & Digital Network, in the presence of dignitaries last month. Hosting this esteemed event for the second consecutive year will further strengthen Gujarat’s positioning as a thriving cultural and cinematic destination. This continued momentum aligns with the state’s efforts under the dynamic Cinematic Tourism Policy launched in September 2022, which aims to establish Gujarat as a preferred hub for film and cultural events.
