Tollywood actor Sivaji has landed into serious trouble for making objectionable comments against women during the pre-release event of his upcoming film Dhandoraa. There was a huge outrage against Sivaji and social media erupted against his comments. Several celebrities responded to his comments and some of the women organizations have demanded an apology. Sivaji released an apology video this evening and spoke about his comments.
“I wanted to say some good words to the heroines about their discomfort during their public appearances. In this process, I used two unparliamentary words and this has hurt several women. I did not mean to talk against all the women and it was about heroines when they are in public. I am not here to insult anyone. My sincere apologies for the unparliamentary words used. I always respect women as a superpower. My intention is not to degrade women. My apologies once again” told Sivaji.
