Unity in Alliance Is the Key to AP’s Growth: Pawan Kalyan

Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan said that the unity of coalition leaders is the true strength behind Andhra Pradesh’s development. In a special meeting with leaders of the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP in Chittoor, he emphasised that if the same spirit of unity continues for the next 15 years, Andhra Pradesh can achieve stable and sustainable progress. He stated that the government is working hard to rebuild systems that had collapsed during the previous YSRCP regime and urged leaders to stay connected with people at the grassroots.
Pawan Kalyan explained that minor communication gaps are natural in any alliance, but they can be resolved through open discussions. He reminded leaders that the alliance was formed with a common goal: ensuring good governance and eliminating lawlessness in the state. He added that the coalition, which began with a small understanding, has now grown into a strong force supporting the NDA government at the Centre. The unity among the three parties, he said, made it possible to offer several nominated posts to deserving leaders.
After inaugurating the new Divisional Development Office at Reddigunta in Chittoor, Pawan Kalyan addressed the gathering and highlighted the major reforms underway in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development departments. He said 77 Divisional Development Offices have been launched across the state, and nearly 10,000 employees who were denied promotions for years finally received their due. Coming from a government employee’s family, he said he understood the value of a promotion and ensured the process was merit-based without any lobbying.
He stressed that positions should never become ornaments but should be treated as responsibilities. Pawan Kalyan recalled the rampant plundering of the precious Seshachalam forests in the past, noting that only 10 percent of the illegally extracted wealth has been recovered so far, but even that is worth thousands of crores. He urged leaders to fight corruption and become a voice for the weak. He criticised the previous government’s intimidation tactics during panchayat elections and reminded how Jana Sena workers risked their lives to stand by the people. He assured that every hardworking party worker will be recognised, with committees soon to be formed from village level to Lok Sabha constituencies.
Pawan Kalyan also inspected the Swachh Rath vehicles recently introduced by the Panchayat Raj department to strengthen cleanliness initiatives in rural areas. He interacted with officials and locals to understand how effectively services such as collection of dry waste and unusable household items are being delivered, and appreciated the efforts being made to spread Swachh Andhra awareness in villages.
Several leaders including MLAs Gurajala Jaganmohan, Arani Srinivasulu, K. Muralimohan, Arava Sridhar, Chittoor district Jana Sena president and AP Handicrafts Development Corporation chairman Dr. Pasupuleti Hariprasad, and Srikalahasti Temple chairman Kotte Sai Prasad were present at the event.
