Actress Sridevi, who won the hearts of Telugu audiences with her performance in Court, has completed shooting for her next multilingual film, Haiku. Starring Aegan and Minnal Murali actress Femina George in lead roles, the film is produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under the Vision Cinema House banner. Written and directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, the film has officially wrapped principal photography and has now entered post-production.
The shoot was completed over nearly 90 call sheets across four schedules. With filming now finished, the team has shifted its full focus to post-production, while the makers are expected to announce more updates in the coming months.
Expressing his excitement, director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy thanked producers Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu for supporting his vision and giving him complete creative freedom throughout the project. He said working with Aegan, Sridevi, Femina George and the entire cast and crew was a rewarding experience. The director added that Haiku has been crafted as a soothing, breezy and emotionally engaging theatrical experience, and he is eager to present it to audiences. He also expressed confidence that Vision Cinema House will continue encouraging talented young filmmakers in the future.
The producers said reaching the production wrap is a proud milestone for the team. They praised Yuvaraj Chinnasamy for his clarity, dedication and disciplined approach during filming, adding that the movie has shaped up exactly as they had envisioned. They believe audiences will connect with the film’s emotional story when it arrives in theatres.
The film also features Femina George, Adrichi Arun, Mime Gopi, Sathyam Sundaram actress Indhumathi, Lubber Pandhu actor Jenson, Sirai actress Ismatha Banu, Doctor Shiva and several other performers. The technical team includes Hari Haran Ram as Additional Screenplay writer, Priyesh Guruswamy handling cinematography, Sakthi Pranesh as editor, Siddhu Kumar composing the music and Prem serving as art director.
Even before completing production, Haiku achieved a major milestone by securing its post-theatrical digital streaming rights with Netflix. At a time when OTT platforms have become increasingly selective with acquisitions, the early streaming deal reflects the makers’ confidence in the film’s story and its universal emotional appeal. With post-production now underway, the film is gearing up for its theatrical release before making its digital debut on Netflix.
