Hombale Films has officially announced its next ambitious pan-India project, bringing together actor Suriya, director T. J. Gnanavel, and actress Kayadu Lohar for what is expected to be one of the most anticipated collaborations in Indian cinema.
Backed by producer Vijay Kiragandur, the new film was formally launched with a grand muhurtha ceremony held at Park Hyatt, Chennai, on June 29, 2026. The event was attended by the cast, crew, and several prominent personalities from the film industry, marking the beginning of the prestigious project.
The untitled film reunites Hombale Films with another celebrated filmmaker after the production house delivered several blockbuster films across languages. Known for producing successful pan-India hits such as KGF, Kantara, and Salaar, Hombale Films has built a reputation for combining large-scale filmmaking with strong storytelling.
Suriya, one of India’s most accomplished actors, headlines the project. Known for his versatile performances over the past two decades, he has earned widespread acclaim for balancing commercial entertainers with content-driven films. Joining him is Kayadu Lohar as the female lead.
The film will be directed by T. J. Gnanavel, who won nationwide recognition with Jai Bhim, a critically acclaimed courtroom drama praised for its powerful storytelling and emotional impact. His collaboration with Suriya has already generated significant excitement among cinema lovers.
Speaking about the project, Hombale Films founder Vijay Kiragandur said the production house believes meaningful cinema is created when passionate artists come together with a shared vision.
