Varun Tej has been choosing variety of scripts and always promising to deliver fresh and interesting films. Now, he joined hands with Merlapaka Gandhi in prestigious UV Creations production, for a cross-cultural horror comedy, Korean Kanakaraju. The movie slated for 7th August release, has created high buzz with promotional material featuring Varun and Satya promising a highly entertaining ride and teaser amplifies it.
Prabhas unveiled the teaser and it starts very creatively with Varun Tej introducing his Rayalaseema village as Kanakaraju but we see visuals of Korea. As Kanakaraju character is introduced we see along with Satya, Varun Tej acing the massy look and comedy like a native Rayalaseema villager. In quite contrast, we see him in a different swag and look as a Korean mobster.
The funny scenes after Varun gets possessed and his different look promises a wholesome Entertainer. The blend looks exciting and highly effective. Varun in both the roles that are poles apart, is able to showcase a never-seen-before swag and charm.
S Thaman’s BGM works perfectly in mixing the horror and comical elements. With such an entertaining teaser, the makers have set the bar high for the film and it looks like a sure-shot winner at the box office.
