NTR’s Dragon is progressing at a brisk pace with the team currently filming an extensive night schedule at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The latest schedule features NTR and leading lady Rukmini Vasanth, with the makers canning some of the film’s key sequences under the supervision of director Prashanth Neel. After wrapping up major portions in Karnataka and Hyderabad, the team has now shifted its focus to crucial episodes that are shot in night mode. Prashanth Neel is said to be shooting these sequences on a grand scale as they play an important role in the film’s narrative.
Dragon marks the first collaboration between NTR and Prashanth Neel, one of the most-awaited combinations in Indian cinema. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the action drama has Ravi Basrur composing the music, while Bhuvan Gowda handles the cinematography. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead. The film is being planned as a pan-Indian release and is aimed to hit the screens in June 2027. NTR is keen to complete the entire filming before the end of this year and he will move on to Trivikram’s mythological drama from 2027.
