With just days left for the release of Jana Nayagan, producer Venkat K. Narayana (KVN Productions) has shared several interesting insights about the film, Vijay, Chiranjeevi, and his upcoming Telugu projects. Speaking about the much-awaited entertainer, the producer expressed confidence that the film will offer an emotional and memorable cinematic experience while also addressing speculation surrounding its story.
Talking about Jana Nayagan, KVN said the film has been designed as a heartfelt tribute to Vijay’s remarkable journey in cinema. According to him, fans of the actor will cherish the film for years to come, as it celebrates the legacy that Vijay has built over decades. He added that the team has focused on delivering a memorable theatrical experience that audiences can enjoy on the big screen.
The producer also revealed the ambitious release plans for the film. He said the makers are aiming to release Jana Nayagan on around 7,000 to 8,000 screens worldwide, making it one of the biggest global releases in Vijay’s career. KVN described Vijay as one of the rare personalities who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets, adding that working with the actor has been a memorable experience.
Responding to comparisons between Jana Nayagan and Bhagavanth Kesari, KVN clarified that the upcoming film is not a remake. He acknowledged that both he and Vijay admire Bhagavanth Kesari and said the team only drew inspiration from certain aspects of the film. He also revealed that they had openly discussed the matter with director Anil Ravipudi. However, he emphasized that Jana Nayagan tells an entirely new story set in a fresh world with a completely different conflict. He expressed confidence that the film will connect emotionally with audiences while offering a unique cinematic experience.
KVN also spoke about the film’s social message. He said Jana Nayagan promotes girl child empowerment and encourages positive social change. The producer admitted that the team was disappointed when the film’s certification was changed from U/A to A, as they had hoped families, especially younger audiences, would be able to watch the film together. He said the intention was to inspire young minds and spark meaningful conversations, but added that the makers fully respect the decision of the Censor Board.
Speaking about his first Telugu production with Megastar Chiranjeevi, KVN shared his admiration for the veteran actor. He said he has been inspired by Chiranjeevi since childhood, praising his films, career journey, songs, and the meaningful messages conveyed through his cinema. According to KVN, producing a film with Chiranjeevi had always been a dream, and he is delighted that it is finally becoming a reality.
The producer further revealed that Mega158, directed by Bobby Kolli, is progressing well and shaping up beautifully. He expressed excitement about collaborating with Chiranjeevi for his Telugu production debut and said the project is turning out exactly as the team had envisioned.
With Jana Nayagan scheduled to hit theatres on July 23, the producer’s latest comments have increased excitement among Vijay’s fans. At the same time, his update on Mega158 has also generated fresh enthusiasm among Chiranjeevi’s admirers, making both projects among the most closely watched upcoming releases.
