Thalapathy Vijay has become CM of Tamil Nadu and his final film, before entering into politics, Jana Nayagan, got delayed by seven months. Producer KVN interacted with media as the movie is releasing this week and revealed that it would leave a lasting impact on audiences despite being a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari.
He stated that he wanted to work with Vijay and when he heard the actor-turned-politician will do another film after GOAT, he planned to produce. He said, “Working with Vijay sir is a great learning experience. His dedication, discipline and determination are unbelievable.”
KVN further revealed that the core emotion of the film focuses heavily on girl child empowerment and societal change. He stated that they have honestly admitted to taking inspiration from two scenes in the hit movie Bhagavanth Kesari, they crafted a completely fresh world and a unique central conflict. Accounting about the challeneges he faced with censor issues, he stated that things happen for good and they cannot keep dwelling on what happened.
Directed by H. Vinoth, the movie brings together a massive cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Mamitha Baiju. It is releasing in 7000 – 8000 screens worldwide in a massive way on 23rd July. Jana Nayagan received A certificate and it is expected to be a landmark in Vijay’s career as an actor.
