Actor Rohith Nara has officially announced his next film, a psychological horror thriller titled Kapaali, on the occasion of his birthday. Along with revealing the title, the makers also released an intriguing first-look poster that offers a glimpse into the film’s dark and mysterious world.
Directed by Raam Ganni, the film is being produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina and Bhanu Kiran Pratapa under the Sapta Aswa Media Works banner, while Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni is presenting the project. Actress Hansika Motwani plays the female lead.
The title Kapaali, which means “the one who wears a skull,” sets the tone for the psychological horror thriller. The first-look poster features Rohith Nara in an intense avatar, sporting a thick beard and a determined expression as he looks upward, seemingly confronting an unseen force. Twisted tree branches emerging like a crown from his head, along with mysterious ancient symbols in the background, hint at occult and mythological elements that form the backbone of the story.
Adding to the suspense, the poster also showcases a frightening female figure with glowing red eyes, suggesting a powerful supernatural presence. Police officers, including one armed with a rifle, and a police transport vehicle placed within a glowing ritual circle indicate that the story unfolds against a police backdrop while exploring a paranormal mystery. The tagline, “A Journey Into The Unknown,” further builds curiosity about the film’s narrative.
The makers have kept the remaining cast and technical crew under wraps and said more details will be revealed in the coming days.
With its intriguing title, haunting visuals, and supernatural theme, Kapaali has already generated interest among horror thriller enthusiasts.
