KJQ – King Jackie Queen movie starring Deekshit Shetty, Sashi Odela and Yukti Thareja has been in the news for its sleek action, strong trailer. The anticipation for the film is high but the unfortunate demise of director KK during filming attracted more buzz. The pre-release event echoed his passion for cinema.
Mythri Ravi stated that he had gone through the pain of losing his mother at a very young age. Hence, he is able to connect with how parents, friends and film team members are feeling for the loss of the director. He stated that audiences should walk into theatres and encourage the young team who delivered a Hollywood range film.
Deekshit Shetty stated that he had been part of the industry for sometime but the passion of KK, really, ignited sparks in him on sets. He stated that the film will be very stylish, different and unique. He thanked producer Sudhakar Cherukuri and all team members for completing the film and releasing it.
Sampath Nandi shared that KK had been his best friend for 20 years. He remembered how passionately KK used to talk to him about the film. He requested audiences to watch it in theaters from 7th August to honor his friend’s talent. Srikanth Odela also echoed similar sentiment and stated that even though his brother is debuting, he wants the passion of KK to be honoured and remembered.
