The actor felt that the plot narrated by Arun Matheswaran is very similar to the films he is doing and he did not sign the project. Soon, the project reached Lokesh Kanagaraj. An old video of Vijay Deverakonda is now going viral all over. DC featured Lokesh Kanagaraj, Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. Anirudh scored the music and Sun Pictures are the producers. DC is a huge blockbuster in Tamil and the film is expected to do decent business in the Telugu states.
