Jr NTR is set to undergo shoulder surgery on Wednesday, August 12, at KIMS Hospitals in Hyderabad, following a shoulder injury he suffered last month. His office issued an official statement on Tuesday, confirming that the actor will undergo the procedure following a medical evaluation.
The statement from Jr NTR’s office read, “Mr. NTR will be undergoing a shoulder surgery tomorrow at KIMS Hospitals, Hyderabad. The surgery has been scheduled following a medical evaluation of the shoulder injury.”
The statement further added, “The team of doctors are working towards a smooth recovery of Mr. NTR. We will keep you updated on his progress following the surgery.”
Jr NTR had suffered the shoulder injury in July and was advised to take adequate rest as part of his recovery. He is expected to require around six to eight weeks of rest following the injury and treatment.
The actor’s injury comes at a crucial time as he is working on his upcoming projects, including Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. His professional commitments are expected to be continued based on his recovery and medical advice.
