Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya’s romantic drama Chennai Love Story is set for its digital premiere following a successful theatrical run. The film, which hit theatres on July 24, will begin streaming on Sony LIV from August 21, the platform officially announced.
The movie will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it accessible to audiences across five languages. Sony LIV confirmed the release through its social media handles, announcing that the much-loved characters Steven Shankar and Nivi will soon entertain viewers on the streaming platform.
Directed by Ravi Namburi and produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh, Chennai Love Story revolves around Steven Shankar, an orphan who dreams of becoming a successful filmmaker. His life changes when he meets Nivedita, a young woman trying to recover from a painful breakup. Their emotional journey, filled with romance, humour, and unexpected twists, forms the core of the story.
Produced on an estimated budget of around ₹16 crore, the film went on to become a commercial success during its theatrical run. With its OTT premiere arriving less than a month after its cinema release, Chennai Love Story is expected to reach an even wider audience through Sony LIV.
