Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar upcoming film Romanchakam is produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga and presented by Sandeep Reddy Vanga under Bhadrakali Pictures banner. The film directed by Venu Gopal Reddy is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 3. Makers arranged a grand press meet today.
At the event, Hero Sumanth Prabhas said that working with Bhadrakali Pictures was a dream opportunity for him. Speaking at the press meet of ‘Romanchakam’, he revealed that the announcement of the film was made only after the entire shoot had been completed. He said that even before the announcement, many people were curious about the project, while even his family members initially found it difficult to believe when he told them about the film.
Sumanth recalled how director Venugopal Reddy made him rehearse for six months. He said that he first heard about the story from Sandeep Reddy Vanga when they met at the SIIMA Awards in Dubai. “He said, ‘There is a crazy story. Do you want to hear it?’ I was so excited that I came back to India the next day,” Sumanth said.
He further revealed that he expected an intense story when he visited the Bhadrakali Pictures office, but Venugopal’s narration turned out to be completely different. “Venugopal anna narrated the story for two and a half hours, and I laughed non-stop throughout those two and a half hours,” he said. According to Sumanth, the director successfully brought everything that was on paper onto the screen and helped him deliver a completely new performance.
Sumanth also praised Ananthika Sanilkumar and the rest of the cast, saying that audiences would remember every character in the film. He described the title ‘Romanchakam’ as fresh and expressed confidence that the movie would offer a super entertainer in theatres.
