The team of Romanchakam met the media in Hyderabad ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on September 3, expressing confidence that the youthful entertainer will offer audiences an enjoyable experience filled with love, humour and suspense.
Presented by filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga under the Bhadrakali Pictures banner, Romanchakam stars Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar in the lead roles. The film is directed by debutant Venugopal Reddy and will be released across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka by Asian Cinemas’ Suniel Narang.
Speaking at the event, Suniel Narang expressed confidence that Romanchakam would emerge as a successful theatrical entertainer and said he looked forward to celebrating its success after the release.
Producer Pranay Reddy Vanga revealed that director Venugopal Reddy had narrated the script nearly 15 months ago and immediately impressed the team with his energetic storytelling. He praised the director for conducting months of rehearsals with the cast and completing the film within the planned budget while maintaining high production quality.
Pranay described Romanchakam as a buddy comedy packed with entertainment and said the performances would feel fresh and relatable. He added that Sandeep Reddy Vanga thoroughly enjoyed the film after watching it and expressed confidence that audiences of all age groups would have a great time watching it in theatres with friends and family.
Director Venugopal Reddy said Sandeep Reddy Vanga encouraged him to stay true to his vision throughout the filmmaking process. He appreciated the support he received from the production house and praised the performances of Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar, along with the work of cinematographer Pawan Puppala and music composer Vasuki Vaibhav. He invited audiences to experience the film on the big screen from September 3.
Hero Sumanth Prabhas shared that joining Bhadrakali Pictures was a dream opportunity for him. He recalled laughing throughout the story narration and said the film allowed him to present himself in a completely new way as an actor. He also appreciated Ananthika Sanilkumar’s performance and expressed confidence that every character in the film would leave a lasting impression on viewers.
Ananthika Sanilkumar said she immediately connected with the script after hearing the narration and described it as one of the most exciting projects she wanted to be part of. She added that working with the entire team was a memorable experience and believes the film will appeal to both youngsters and family audiences.
