Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of veteran actor and producer G.V. Narayana Rao, who passed away at the age of 73. Remembering his close friend, Chiranjeevi shared an emotional note, describing the news of his passing as “profound shock.”
Narayana Rao made his silver-screen debut with K. Balachander’s Anthuleni Katha in 1976 and went on to establish himself as a respected actor through numerous films and television serials. Over the course of his career, he became known for his distinctive performances and earned a special place among Telugu cinema audiences
Recalling his personal association with Narayana Rao, Chiranjeevi said they shared a “very close bond.” He also highlighted their professional collaboration, noting that Narayana Rao produced films such as Devaanaku Dudu and Yamudiki Mogudu with him.
