Young Producer S Naga Vamsi is the frontrunner to acquire the Telugu theatrical rights of Jailer 2. The final discussions are going on. Vamsi has placed his proposal before he left for the USA and the final decision will be taken in the next one week. Asian Suniel is in talks to release the film on an advance basis in the Telugu states with the support of Suresh Babu. If Vamsi acquires the rights, he will release the film in the Telugu states. Naga Vamsi shares a close bonding with Jailer 2 director Nelson and he paid a handsome advance for the talented director.
There are speculations that Jailer 2 will get postponed but the team has reconfirmed that the film will release as per the plan on October 15th during Dasara. Rajinikanth is the lead actor in this action drama and Sun Pictures are the producers. There are big expectations on the film. Anirudh is scoring the music and background score for Jailer 2.
