The teaser of Thella Kaagitham, starring Harsh Roshan in the lead role, was launched in Hyderabad on Saturday in the presence of renowned producer Dil Raju and director Bobby. Presented by Krishna Kommalapati under the Arunachala Creations banner, the youthful emotional love story is directed by debutant Ramesh Bandreddi and is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2.
Harsh Roshan, who impressed audiences with Court and Band Melam, plays the lead, while Telugu actress Nakshatra makes her debut as the female lead. The teaser has already created positive buzz, with several industry personalities expressing confidence that the film will strike a chord with youngsters and family audiences alike.
Speaking at the event, Dil Raju described Thella Kaagitham as an innocent love story with a meaningful message. He said the film reminded him of the emotions he experienced while making Kotha Bangaru Lokam. According to him, the story revolves around how a single mistake can change the course of a person’s life, symbolised by a red mark on a white sheet of paper. He praised the performances, visuals, music and writing, expressing confidence that the film would emerge as a major success.
Director Bobby also lauded the teaser and said that while the film appears to be a simple love story on the surface, it has multiple emotional layers. He added that the screenplay contains all the ingredients of a commercial entertainer and appreciated director Ramesh Bandreddi for handling the subject with maturity in his debut film.
Writer-director BVS Ravi praised producer Krishna Kommalapati for believing in the project and backing it wholeheartedly. Calling him a producer who understands both filmmaking and promotion, Ravi expressed confidence that Thella Kaagitham would become a significant milestone in his career.
Writer Nandu Savirigana revealed that the story was inspired by a real-life newspaper incident that stayed with him for years. He said the film is rooted in relatable emotions and everyday experiences, making it easy for audiences to connect with every character. He also expressed confidence that Harsh Roshan would earn widespread appreciation for his performance, while Nakshatra’s innocence would be one of the film’s biggest strengths.
