Ram Charan is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his much-awaited pan-India film Peddi reaches audiences exactly on its announced release date. The star, who plays the title role, is currently busy with an intense shooting schedule as the makers race against time to wrap up the remaining portions of the film. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings backing the project.
With the film slated for a theatrical release on March 27, the team has now moved into the crucial final phase of production. According to sources, the climax sequences are currently being filmed in Hyderabad on a massive specially erected set. High-octane action scenes involving Ram Charan and key members of the cast are being shot under tight schedules, highlighting the scale and ambition of the project.
It is learned that the first half of Peddi has already been locked, while post-production work related to the second half is progressing at a rapid pace. The makers are reportedly aiming to complete the entire talkie portion by the end of this month, after which the focus will shift fully to post-production, including visual effects and background score.
Peddi is said to be a periodic action drama with a strong sports backdrop. Ram Charan is expected to be seen in a rugged and intense avatar, portraying an athlete-turned-labourer, a role that has already generated significant curiosity among fans. The film also features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, while Shivrajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma play pivotal roles.
