Actor Gopichand has officially begun work on his next ambitious project, tentatively titled #Gopichand34, which was launched in a grand manner with a traditional pooja ceremony. The film marks the directorial debut of popular fight master V. Venkat and is being produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under the banner 70mm Entertainments.
Adding freshness to the project, Malayalam actress Anarkali Nazar has been confirmed as the female lead, making her debut in Telugu cinema with this film. The launch event was attended by several notable personalities from the industry. Filmmaker Shiva Nirvana, producer K. L. Damodar Prasad, and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili formally handed over the script to the team. The camera was switched on by action choreographers Ram-Lakshman, while veteran producer Mallemala Shyam Prasad Reddy gave the first clap. Leading producer Dil Raju directed the opening shot, marking a grand start to the project. The regular shoot is expected to commence soon.
Backed by a production house known for content-driven films, #Gopichand34 is being mounted on a large scale with a focus on strong storytelling and high production values. For his debut as a director, Vvenkat has reportedly crafted a powerful script that presents Gopichand in an intense, action-packed role, blending emotional depth with high-octane drama.
The film also boasts a strong technical team. Cinematography will be handled by Shamdat Sainudeen, while music will be composed by Sam C. S.. National Award-winning editor A. Sreekar Prasad is in charge of editing, and the production design is being led by Rama Krishna-Monika.
