Leading production house Hombale Films has officially announced its next ambitious project, Mahavatar Parashuraam, on the auspicious occasion of Parashuram Jayanti.
The banner, known for blockbuster films like KGF, Kantara, Salaar and Mahavatar Narasimha, is now expanding its Mahavatar cinematic universe with this new chapter.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar in collaboration with Kleem Productions, the film will focus on the intense and powerful story of Lord Parashuram, known as a warrior-sage who represents divine anger and justice. The makers promise a visually grand experience that blends mythology with modern cinematic technology.
The newly released title poster has already grabbed attention for its striking design. Instead of revealing the full character, the poster highlights Parashuram’s blood-streaked axe standing tall in the middle of a battlefield filled with destruction. The tagline, “When Dharma Falls, the Parshu Rises,” adds more impact and hints at an epic battle between righteousness and evil.
The title glimpse has further increased excitement among audiences. With large-scale visuals, detailed animation, and an intense background score by Sam CS, the teaser offers a powerful first look into the world of the film.
Planned as a grand animated spectacle, Mahavatar Parashuraam aims to bring Indian mythology alive for modern audiences. The film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release in 2027 and is expected to take the Mahavatar franchise to the next level.
