Puttaparthi witnessed a massive spiritual celebration as Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh took part in the grand centenary events of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The celebrations were held at the Hill View Stadium in Puttaparthi, Sri Sathya Sai district, drawing thousands of devotees from across the country.
The event turned more special with the presence of Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who attended as chief guests. The celebrations began with a beautiful procession, where a statue of Sri Sathya Sai Baba was brought from the mandir on a golden chariot and welcomed at the venue with devotional chants and enthusiasm.
Organizers presented a portrait of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to Vice President CP Radhakrishnan as a mark of respect. Before joining the main event, Minister Lokesh visited the Mahasamadhi at Prasanthi Nilayam’s Sai Kulwant Hall and offered prayers.
The program was attended by Tripura Governor N. Indrasena Reddy, Meghalaya High Court Chief Justice Soumen Sen, Uttarakhand High Court Chief Justice Guhanathan Narender, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Managing Trustee RJ Rathnakar, Sri Sathya Sai Global Council Chairman K. Chakravarthi, and All India President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Nimish Pandya. Several public representatives, officials, and a large number of devotees also participated, making the centenary celebrations memorable and spiritually vibrant.
