Fans of Nandamuri Balakrishna are facing another setback as one more anticipated project in his lineup has been temporarily put on hold. The film, which was to be directed by Vivek Athreya, had generated significant buzz among audiences but is currently not moving forward. This comes shortly after Balakrishna’s much-talked-about historical project with Gopichand Malineni was shelved due to budget constraints, with the team shifting focus to a gangster drama that is now under production.
In a fresh development, the actor is set to collaborate with Vijay Kanakamedala for a new project. Known for his work in films like Naandhi and Bhairavam, Vijay is expected to present Balakrishna in a powerful police role. The film is likely to go on floors within the next two to three months, with an official announcement awaited soon.
The project will reportedly be produced by SLV Cinemas, adding to the anticipation around this new collaboration.
