Pawan Kalyan has constituted a special committee within the Jana Sena Party to study two key political developments likely to shape Andhra Pradesh politics in the coming months — local body elections and constituency delimitation.
The party announced that the committee has been formed to conduct an in-depth analysis of possible local body elections in the state as well as the anticipated delimitation process. The panel will prepare a detailed report and submit its recommendations to the party leadership.
Several senior leaders and MLAs have been included in the committee. The members are Konathala Ramakrishna from Anakapalli, Panchakarla Ramesh from Pendurthi, Arani Srinivasulu from Tirupati, Pantham Nanaji from Kakinada Rural, Bolisetti Srinivas from Tadepalligudem, C. H. Vamsikrishna from Visakhapatnam South, former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, NTR district Jana Sena president Samineni Uday Bhanu, and West Godavari district president Kotikalapudi Govinda Rao.
According to the party, Pawan Kalyan will soon hold discussions with the committee members and provide them with detailed directions on the study process and future strategy.
The move is being seen as part of Jana Sena’s early groundwork ahead of major political and electoral developments in Andhra Pradesh, especially at a time when discussions around local body polls and constituency restructuring are gaining momentum across political circles in the state.
