Pan-India star Prabhas has added another milestone to his career by becoming the actor with the highest number of ₹100 crore opening day films in Indian cinema. The achievement comes after the strong opening performance of his latest release, The Raja Saab, which reportedly collected between ₹100 crore and ₹112 crore worldwide on its first day.
According to a list shared by trade analyst Nishit Shaw, Prabhas now leads the chart with six films that crossed the ₹100 crore mark on their opening day. The list includes Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Saaho, Adipurush, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Kalki 2898 AD, and The Raja Saab.
The record highlights Prabhas’ consistent box-office pull across multiple markets and languages. Over the years, the actor has built a massive fan base not only in Telugu states but also across India and overseas, making him one of the country’s biggest crowd-pullers.
The list places Thalapathy Vijay, Jr NTR, and Shah Rukh Khan in the second position, with two ₹100 crore opening day films each. Actors including Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Yash, Rajinikanth, Pawan Kalyan, Ranveer Singh, and Ranbir Kapoor have one film each in the elite club.
Fans of Prabhas have been celebrating the achievement on social media, calling it another example of his unmatched pan-India appeal. At the same time, some movie enthusiasts pointed out that certain multi-starrer projects, such as RRR, recorded even bigger opening-day collections, with the film reportedly earning around ₹223 crore worldwide on its first day.
Regardless of the debate, Prabhas’ latest feat further strengthens his position among India’s biggest box-office stars and underlines the remarkable opening-day potential of his films.
