The Telangana High Court has issued notices to relatives of A. Revanth Reddy in connection with a land dispute involving property in Nanakramguda.
According to reports, notices were served to Revanth Reddy’s brother Kondal Reddy and his maternal relative Sudini Padma Reddy after a petition alleged that a sale deed was executed illegally in their names.
The case relates to 2.10 acres of prohibited land in Survey No. 75/1 at Nanakramguda. The petition was reportedly filed by Madala Sudhakar, CMD of Janachaitanya Housing Limited, challenging the authorities’ decision to permit registration of the land in the names of the two individuals.
After hearing arguments from the petitioner’s counsel, the High Court directed status quo on the disputed land and issued notices to the concerned officials as well as the respondents named in the petition.
The matter has been adjourned for further hearing to June 11, drawing fresh political attention in Telangana.
